Small Group Facilitator Training Outline

2010, March 1st

Issue 8

Your Initial Training Program should be five to six hours. You can do this on a Saturday or have two or three smaller segments. In some ways, having it in three two-hour sessions is best, because it allows for review of material from the previous session. Here’s an approximate breakdown of what you should cover and what resources you might want to use for each segment. Unless otherwise noted, resources are included in this handbook.

Thanks for your interest in the Evangelical Catholic and our small group training resources. An excellent way to find out more about some methods of evangelization, especially our approach to small group ministry, is to read our Handbook of Evangelical Catholic ministry. You can buy it on our website at http://www.evangelicalcatholic.org/materials. We also hope to post more resources for small group ministries periodically.

God bless you and your ministry!
